Including yesterday’s 1 nil victory against fellow Spanish side Real Madrid, Barcelona has won four out of the five el-classico events since Xavi became the manager of the club.
Xavi, who is a football manager and former Barcelona midfielder became the head coach of La Liga side Barcelona in 2021. Since his emergence as the club’s manager, the team has engaged in five matches against Real Madrid, won four out of the five games including the Super Cup final.
Despite his team’s bad performances in European football, Xavi has recorded completely awesome results in their home league La Liga, currently on the number one spot on the league’s table.
The 43-year old manager lost his first el-classico as the head coach of Barcelona, but has been excellent at every other occurrence of the event.
On January 15, 2023, Xavi’s team went on to win the Super Cup, beating Real Madrid with a remarkable 3-1 victory with Gavi, Robert Lewandowski, Pedri & Karim Benzema as the goal scorers in the competition.
